A Hair Braiders license is required to perform hair braiding services in the state of Florida.  Hair braiding is defined as the practice of weaving or interweaving natural human hair without cutting, coloring, permanent waving, relaxing, removing, or chemical treatment and does not include the use of hair extensions or wefts.
